Cindy Jacobs believes that birds and fish are dying because God supposedly disapproves of LGBT people? Is this much different from a certain church that claims that military deaths are the result of God's disapproval of gays? Yikes.

Cindy Jacobs is clearly a fraud as a 'prophet' by any standard, but is especially egregious by the standards of the faith and god she claims to speak for. In Deuteronomy 18, it clearly states that a one who claims the title 'prophet' yet speaks one word that comes from a source other than God himself - in other words, anyone claiming the title who says "God has told me..." and is proven wrong, is to be pit to death.

Now, I am not in ANY way saying that Cindy should meet that fate. Not at all. But it shouldn't be ignored that prophets, true ones, don't speak in 'maybes' or 'could bes'. Either you believe you have a hard line to God, in which case you believe every word you say and speak with zeal, or you know you're a sham and hedge your bets.

How stupid do people have to be to keep following these scam artists?
