THESE bigots have too much time on their hands

From Right Wing Watch comes something so ridiculous that there are no words:

The Public Advocate, the fervently anti-gay group led by Virginia politician Eugene Delgaudio, devised a protest song, complete with references to Jerry Sandusky and child abuse, to condemn Ernst &Young CEO James Turley’s attempt to overturn the Boy Scouts of America’s ban on gay members, a ban that was recently reaffirmed:

Transcript:

We've heard about dear Turley's plan,
And we're here to say,
It's sad that such a senseless man
Is with the B.S.A!

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

We have seen just what can come
When anyone at all
Can get quite close to little ones
And frankly, we're appalled!

Morally, Morally,
What will it be like
If we let the unsavory
Get close to our dear tykes?

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

You say that we should open doors
And welcome one and all.
With no attention to the boors
Who'll make our children bawl.

Morally, Morally,
Whatever shall be done
If we hire Sandusky,
and let him near our sons?

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

Public Advocate is the same group which recently stole a gay couple's wedding photo to use in a homophobic ad.

Between you and me, I don't think P. Diddy will be pushing a remix of that song any time soon.

I can't believe there are people cruel and stupid enough to do that. Why for the love of God can't we all get along? I'm not even going to touch on the complete stupidity of their...I don't even want to call it a song, that it was ever thought of offends me.

Disgusting. Absolutely gross. I have my own issues with the BSA, but really? The Right Wing has become a giant Westboro. God(s) help us all.

You keep using that word (morally), I do not think it means what you think it means.

The people make me sick! IF they are so proud of their song why are some of them hiding their faced underneath paper bags?! Disgusting and sick people of the Right Wing you all need to go crawl back under the rock you came from!!

What's with the paper bags? Were their white hoods at the dry cleaners?

When you read the words to their song, you get the impression that they are the ones we need to keep our children from. It's exactly why I don't let my son go to Sunday School.

@Anonymous:
I think that's generally true of most words they use.

Jerry Sandusky is married to a woman. He is an avowed heterosexual, knee deep in the heterosexual lifestyle. Bans on openly gay men and woman would not prevent someone like Sandusky from having access to children. It never ceases to amaze me - the religious right is so desperate to validate their inexcusable bigotry that they'll simply ignore facts and logic that are entirely obvious to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention.
