NOM's Morse wants you to forget that lgbts of color exist

In the years which I have observed the religious right, the thing which always disturbs me the most regarding their talking points and claims is how they always attempt to manipulate the world to suit their purposes. In other words, anyone who doesn't fit their narrative or refutes their narrative is omitted and excised as if they don't exist.

We've seen how organizations like the Family Research Council and the National Organization for Marriage are deliberately careful not to mention same-sex families and their children when speaking against marriage equality. This is because they don't want to admit that same-sex couples are just as good when it comes to being parents as the two-parent heterosexual dynamic they hoist on a pedestal.

But same-sex couples and their children aren't the only ones who receives this nasty treatment.
The following clip below courtesy of Equality Matters features Jennifer Morse of NOM's Ruth Institute speaking for the African-American community and proclaiming how black people in general get offended when lgbts supposedly compared the gay equality movement to the African-American civil rights movement:

Morse makes a small point. There are some African-Americans - ignorant African-Americans - who seem to think that the black civil rights movement and the gay civil rights movement aren't the same. However, please note that I said "some." There are others who see the similarities in both. And more importantly, Morse didn't mention the category of people whose existence unites both movements, lgbts of color, like the following:

No matter how neat Morse's divide and conquer strategy is, it will always fail when it runs into the brick wall called reality.

Equality is equality regardless of ethnicity, color, religion, social history, gender or sexual orientation. Why these people can not understand this very basic point of freedom which directly equates to equality is beyond me.

I saw something at Good As You about this and the black woman who has written a book on changing her behavior so now she is married to a man and has kids.
She claimed she was in a long term relationship with a woman with kids and they had no problems back in the 70's and could not understand why we need equality or protections.( That has to be a huge lie.) We could change.( big lie)
The whole time she is going on about the "lifestyle" she never mentions the fact that a good portion of the LGBT population is some beautiful shade of brown.
So not only is she bad mouthing LGBT folks, she is doing it to her own people and does not see that as a problem.
She is not only paid to lie against the LGBT minority but her own as well.
I'm sure her kids and grandkids will be proud when they see her name listed with the losers and haters when this is over. How sad is that.
Equality for all is coming soon and all these hateful people will have to shut up and go the way of the other anti-everything groups. Underground where they belong.
America has no room for hate and lies. We need to move forward with education based on science and facts so we can compete with the rest of the world.
SCOTUS has to rule for equality. The support from businesses, people, and our own government is amazing and we can not be expected to tell the rest of the world how to treat their people if we can't do it by example.

Thank you for bringing us this video. I found it VERY inspiring, so much so that I went to the National Black Justice Coalition and reviewed their website and sent them a message of support.
