'Conservatives launching ugly campaign against America's transgender troops' & other Tue midday news briefs

Conservatives Launch Full-Scale Campaign to Reinstate “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” for Transgender Troops - Using the same tactics they used in the early 90s after Bill Clinton's election to keep gay and lesbian soldiers from serving openly. It's a nasty degree of coordination which is to be expected between the right-wing media, the religious right, and other ridiculous folks. It's insulting to the the transgender soldiers who are already serving proudly in the military. I guess we will hear all sorts of nonsense about showers, close quarters, and, in this case, transgender male soldiers wanting to get pregnant.

LGBTQ Rights Group Launches Massive Anti-Trump Effort For 2018 - Support NOW. Bitch at the Human Rights Campaign LATER.

Church Of England Condemns Conversion Therapy, Reaches Out To Transgender Community - Watch how quickly the "defenders of religious liberty" forget that they are supposed to defend religious liberty for all.

Moonlight' Director Barry Jenkins to Adapt James Baldwin Novel for Next Movie - This is gonna be good!

Fighting for L.G.B.T. Rights in Retirement Communities - We sometimes forget about our elderly LGBTQs. We shouldn't.
